Nostalgia and Comfort Brought to us by Like Grandpa Shave + Beard Products

Ken Kaminski-Raab and Keenyn Bijou, creators of Like Grandpa Shave & Beard Products, are back to share their rich line of shaving products with us! They first vended with us in the winter of 2017 and we are thrilled to have them back for the spring! From their mouths: "We are an all-natural grooming company that strives to provide quality products like our Grandpa’s always used." That sounds pretty nice to us! Keep up with Like Grandpa's progress on instagram/twitter (@likegrandpa) and read on down below to see what has been inspiring Ken and Keenyn to create!

Get Your Low Magick On With The Witchery

The Witchery, brainchild of Katie Karpetz, is Edmonton's own little Internet occult shop that brings European Traditional Witchcraft and Southern-style conjure magick to the North. Back with us again at Royal Bison for for both weekends, The Witchery is run by a practicing Witch with a touch of hoodoo influences. Mesmerized by herbs, religious iconography, and the Dead, The Witch is a lover of low magick who believes that everyone’s world can be enhanced by the use of spellwork. You can check out the new crafts The Witchery is getting up to on a regular basis by following them on their instagram / twitter / facebook feeds and read on down below to get a glimpse into their minds in our Q&A:

Q: What does it mean to be an Edmonton maker/designer/artist?
TW: You have to be willing to put the time and energy into whatever you are doing, and not listen to people when they say you are crazy. ;)

Q: What are your top 3 influences (artists, things, etc)?
TW: Reading every folk magic and witchcraft book I can get my hands on and the images of Darby Lahger

Q: Favourite Bison item you’ve picked up at a previous fair?
TW: Emily Chu’s Mercat Print: As far as I am concerned this is the most amazing image ever created. :D
