A Lesson In Going With The Flow by Olivia Forsyth

Exploring the female figure is something a lot of us enjoy and our next artist is in no way shy of expressing sexuality in her unique and low brow style! Olivia Forsyth is an independent multi-disciplinary artist exploring the world of pop-surrealism and punk-rock aesthetics. Originally from Edmonton, Olivia is currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Calgary. She first joined us at Bison last year and it was a perfect fit, so we are thrilled to have her back again! Check up on Olivia's progress on instagram (@olivia_forsyth) and read on down below to see what makes Olivia's clock tick:

RB: What draws you to making/designing things?
OLIVIA: Just the need to create objects in general!

RB: What’s new for your line/business this spring?
OLIVIA: I’ll have all new ceramic sculptures, paintings and drawings!

RB: What’s in your designer/maker/creative plans for 2018?
OLIVIA: I’m currently in school at ACAD working towards my BFA, so I’m always learning new methods of creating art that I will apply to my own practice. I’m hoping to learn more about fibre arts, like weaving!

RB: Tell us about a few of your designer/maker/creative crushes:
OLIVIA: Currently I’m loving the work of Tara Booth, Katie Stout and Rebecca Morgan
